St. Paul's Cathedral

Doors Open London - Tour St. Paul's

September 16th, 2018 at St. Paul's Cathedral from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
"Doors Open" continues on Sunday, September 16th!

St. Paul's Cathedral is on the official "Doors Open London" list this year - we hope you will stop in and say hello! There will be a number of displays telling stories of this historic place of worship:

- Enjoy an historical re-enactment of Bishop Cronyn returning to his cathedral church, where he will recount the momentous event when he became Bishop and share his recollections of early London.

- Participate in a guided tour of the Cathedral, basking in the glowing light of stained glass windows, including four Tiffany windows.

- As 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, St. Paul’s will offer presentations outlining the military stories of many Londoners. The presentations will also share the histories of London’s regiments and displays of their colours and other regalia.

- Learn more about the creation of and stories depicted in the beautiful tapestries designed and expertly crafted by Betty McLeod

- On Sunday the 16th all are welcome to attend the 10am service and the service of Choral Evensong at 4:00pm

Please contact Deacon Pat Henderson if you are interested in volunteering to be a part of this special weekend.
