Catherinanne George has served as a Chaplain in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve for over 25 years. Prior to that she was a Regular Force Navy Chaplain for two years - Stationed at CFB Borden where she was Padre to the Canadian Forces School of Intelligence and Security, Canadian Firces Medical School, & the Canadian Forces Logistic Office. On the civilian side,
Catherinanne has been Director of Youth and Family Ministries at Church of the Atonement in Windsor, ON, as well as Roman Catholic Chaplain to Ascension University and the University of Windsor. More recently she was Director of Campus Ministry at Brescia University College from 2011 until its closure in April of 2024.
Catherinanne has lived in an ecumenical relationship for over 30 years now. She is married to Kevin George, Dean of Diocese of Huron and Rector of St. Paul's Cathedral. Catherinanne and Kevin met at an Ecumenical gathering of Huron - Faculty of Theology and St. Peter's Seminary when they both were studying for their Masters of Divinity. They have worked for their respective churches throughout their ministry. Ecumenism is a high priority for Catherinanne. Over the years she has been active in several Anglican parishes all the while remaining a faithful Roman Catholic. She had a unique perspective on Christian Unity as she has practiced ecumenism in her military and civilian ministries, all the while living into the richness that diversity provides, both at work and at home.
